The Independent Motorsports Group (IMG) sanctions wheel to wheel Sprint and Endurance Racing, as well as On-Track High Performance Driver's Education events, On-Track Time Trials, and Competition Race Schools. Our goal is to provide a place for safe, no-contact performance driving in a friendly environment for drivers of all experience and skill levels.

Four New Championship Series Announced for 2013

We are excited to announce that IMG drivers will be eligible to compete in up to four new championship series in 2013.

Top finishers in each class in any IMG Sprint Race, Time Trial, Endurance Race, or ETC Challenge race will be eligible for points towards a series championship with a season-end trophy, prizes, and bragging rights waiting for them at the end of the season. With bonus awards for consistency and clean overtaking, these new IMG series promises to deliver more of the cars, competition, and camaraderie that we strive to achieve.

Registration Open for the First Half of the 2013 Season

After a long winter, we are proud to make the announcement you were waiting for - Registration is now open for the first three events of our 2013 schedule!

Our season kicks off with our May 27th  Get Loud! at Lime Rock event, a full-day, unmuffled event at Lime Rock Park, featuring High Performance Driver's Education, Time Trials, Double Sprint Races, and full access to the Lime Rock Skidpad.

Just one short month later, we head to the most popular new track, as chosen by you in our 2012 Participant Survey. The first of our two Summit Point Main events is June 22nd-23rd and boasts dawn to dusk action for both Sprint Racers and drivers in our On-Track HPDE and TT programs..

Then it's back up to NJMP Lightning for HEAT Lightning with NJMP on July 20th-21st. Make the most of the hot summer months by tearing up the tarmac at New Jersey's premier motorsport facility.

Early bird discounts are in full effect for plenty of pre-season savings. We expect these events to be very popular, so register now and secure your spot today!

Thank You for Partying with IMG this Winter

All of us at IMG and Entropy Racing would like to say Thank You for attending our annual winter party this past weekend.

The laughter and good spirits lasted well into the evening thanks to the company of our members, supporters and the gourmet cooking everyone prepared for the occasion. It was a great time all around, and we are so happy that you were able to come and be part of it.

The 2013 IMG Winter Party (hosted by Entropy Racing) is scheduled for Saturday February 2nd, 2013, from 12 noon until... whenever!

Why:
Because the food is great and the company is as well!

Join your fellow enthusiasts for a filled day where the only requirement is that you join a nice group of people with food in hand and a warm smile. This potluck party has become quite the culinary competition in past years, and we are keen to continue the tradition – bring your best recipes and share with all!

Festivities commence at 12 noon and go well into the evening. While most of the guests are race car oriented, the party is spouse and kid-friendly as well. So don't be afraid that all we'll talk about is cars and race tracks.

All we ask is that you let us know you're coming, and what you'll be bringing.
